Ryan Lance.

I had to add this photo that Ashlyn took last night. She cut of his head but it's still pretty good. We may have a photographer in the making.Ryan was baby B and he was transverse across my stomach on the left side (toward the end anyway). You could see his little heels kick back and forth across my belly and pop out my belly button. He was the most active while I was pregnant and we had a sneaking suspicion that he was a boy from the very beginning. He was always acting up for the camera when we had ultrasounds. We didn't know the sex of any of our babies because we wanted to be surprised.

He is 17 months old and weighed 4 lbs 11 oz when he was born. He was the smallest and had to be under the Bili lights for a few days. He now weighs 26 lbs and he loves to climb.Of all my children, he is the worst sleeper. He has been the one to wake us up the most. He prefers his daddy to come in and rub his back. At this very moment, while the girls are napping, he is in his crib trying to take his shirt off.

He is daddy's boy. He loves to snuggle with him and really resembles him. This is a photo of Lance when he was a baby. I can see Ryan in many ways. They are the only 2 in our family with blond hair and blue eyes. Ryan has his daddy's name for a middle name. We picked his first name because we wanted something Irish to remind him of his paternal grandfather's heritage. He loves to eat. I haven't seen him turn down much of anything.I enjoy the controversy over Nature vs. Nurture especially raising a set of triplets. I don't try and influence them in any way. To see an only boy become a "boy" all by himself is quite hysterical at times. He hisses at baby dolls but loves trucks, dirt, mud, and digging. He does have a slight feminine side though. He can be very soft hearted, he doesn't like bugs, and he will fight with the girls over pink, glitter, and ruffles. This drives Lance crazy because he would like him to be in camouflage 24/7. He also loves to vacuum but probably because it has a motor. He will definitely do something mechanical some day because he is obsessed with anything that requires batteries, has buttons to push, or makes noise.
Ryan is usually the least shy around strangers. It's pretty easy to get him to smile or giggle.

Sweet and cute boy :) I didn't realize that our trios were the exact same age. When's their birthday? Ours were born 11/16/06 at 35.6 weeks...
