Brooke. 22 lbs. What she lacks in size, she makes up for in diligence.
Ashlyn. 30 lbs. Shows no mercy when it comes to hugging.
Though it may look like they are fighting, they were actually hugging each other. Isn't it adorable?Here they are pretending this tote lid is a boat. They actually did this by themselves.
The kids are getting a little better at playing together and there is maybe a tad less fighting. I got energetic over the weekend and sorted out all their toys again. Now, they are only allowed one tote out at a time. This has been very exciting for them because each new tote is like Christmas. Before, with all the toys scattered from one side of the house to the other, they were too overwhelmed to play with any of them.They did get a bit of a cold last week and that has made for a little crankiness. Mostly a runny nose and sore throat. Not the worst cold they've ever had.

I really need to go through our toys again... it does make a huge difference in their desire to actually play with the toys! Love all the hugging!!
oh, the dish I was making the other day was a very simple chicken pasta dish, but I was missing a couple of ingredients, had to improvise in ways that required extra time, and I had only finished boiling the chicken when the girls woke up.
So cute! I love when they play together. The other day I had a full 30 minutes where all the kids were playing downstairs together and I wasn't bothered by a single baby. Oh my word! How great is that??!! It's coming, girlfriend, someday our kids will play together quietly while we sit back and eat our bon-bons or read novels...
